E3 Development and Tremont Development Partners are co-developers of the Lakeside Apartments project in the Columbus Park neighborhood of Worcester. The project seeks to reimagine and modernize the existing Lakeside Apartments public housing property, which was originally built in 1949 and is Worcester Housing Authority’s oldest property. The redevelopment will replace the existing 202 public housing units with a new, mixed-income community that includes approximately 350 rental and homeownership units. The redevelopment will be implemented in several phases to minimize relocation of Lakeside Apartment’s current residents. Phase 1, which includes 116 apartments, is under construction with completion expected in summer 2027.
